As a group of friends we purchased this item for a friend of ours who had recently gotten married he has a small apt. And when wed come visit there wouldn't be enough room for all of us to sit... Great idea - it folds up nica and compact and is quite durable.

these benches were exactly what we needed and they are sturdy, stood up to 2 days in the Nevada desert with over 100 bike riders sitting on them

I ordered this item based on the amount of positive feedback, but it only took one use to find out I'd made a mistake. If you look carefully, you will notice the base created by the legs is narrower than the seat. I doesn't take a genius to realize this makes for an unstable condition, but I found out the hard way when my son's soccer team ended up flat on their backs! I would consider sending it back, but the vendor, Golf Outlets of America, makes you pay shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Cheaper to throw it out! Unsafe product.
