As other reviewers have already stated, the sheet is very soft and has a warm feel to it. Unlike other reviewers I had no trouble with shrinkage so far dying it on low.

By far the softest crib sheet I've found. I had gone through three jersey-knit sheets, all of which had ripped as I tried to wrestle them on the mattress. I would definitely purchase this again.

It is a little thicker then a normal bed sheet, wasn't expecting that, for a softer bed. It isn't so much thicker that I worry about my baby, I'd say it's 1/16 in thickeness, maybe 2 or 3 times thicker then a normal bed sheet.
